These terms govern your use of The Sound Lounge. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them and to Apple’s applicable App Store terms.
1. The service
The Sound Lounge helps you explore music through short catalog previews, taste preferences, reactions, saved tracks, themes, statistics, and optional playlist export. Catalog, artwork and preview availability can vary by country and may change without notice.
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. Do not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer protected parts of it where prohibited by law, or use it to violate another party’s rights.
3. Free access
The app currently offers unlimited free music discovery. Optional features including player themes, statistics, undo, and playlist export may require Premium Access. We may reasonably change feature availability in future versions, but changes will not remove access already granted by a valid paid entitlement.
4. Premium Access
Monthly Premium is an auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple. It renews each month unless cancelled through Apple before the next renewal, and premium access ends when the paid subscription period expires. Lifetime Access is a separate non-consumable purchase that unlocks the premium features described on the purchase screen for the supported lifetime of The Sound Lounge. Buying Lifetime Access does not automatically cancel an existing monthly subscription. Prices are localized by Apple. Purchases may be restored using the Apple ID that completed the transaction and are subject to Apple’s purchase, refund, subscription, and Family Sharing rules.
5. Apple Music
Some features require MusicKit authorization and an eligible Apple Music account. Your use of Apple Music remains subject to Apple Media Services terms. The Sound Lounge cannot guarantee that any song, preview, artwork, or playlist operation will remain available.
6. Intellectual property
The Sound Lounge interface, branding, original graphics, and software are owned by Roadman Studio or its licensors. Music, artwork, artist names, and Apple services belong to their respective rights holders. No ownership of music is transferred to you by the app.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app dependable, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change to improve the product, comply with law, or respond to third-party service changes. We may discontinue the service where reasonably necessary.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Roadman Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, unavailable third-party content, or interruption caused by Apple or network services. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict use where necessary to address abuse, legal requirements, security, or material violation of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without excluding any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
